Aunt Jane

I have a friend who comes to me in spirit usually before I lose someone, and the night before last I dreamt that he was talking to me about my dogs and showing me dog papers. I thought that was kind of strange, but he also showed me dirt scattered on the papers. I thought maybe he was trying to tell me that my dog Rocky passed away since he's my oldest dog and he is in failing health. I was on the phone yesterday morning telling a friend about the dream, and only a half hour after that conversation ended, I received a phone call that my sweet Aunt Jane passed away in the middle of the night. It was then that I understood the message - the dirt on the paper represented the dirt at a burial.

My Aunt Jane was a very kind and happy lady who was full of spunk and life. Just last year, my sister Bonnie and I put a party together and called it a surprise birthday party for myself. In reality, it was a party for Aunt Jane who was in her 80's to get to see everyone - family and friends - people that she would normally have seen at a family reunion. I felt strongly this would be her last chance since I didn't feel she would be here another year. She even played the harmonica with the band at that party!

Aunt Jane has joined her husband, mother, father, sisters and brothers, and I believe they are now having a family reunion of their own. My love and my blessings to Aunt Jane and her family.

One for the books...

As promised, here is the continuation of the previous post!

I had a sweet little short-haired Chihuahua named Daisy for many years until she passed away at a ripe old age a year and a half ago. It was such a loss to me because she was my favorite (shhh - don't tell my other dogs!), and I've missed her presence in my house ever since.

Recently, I got a new short-haired baby Chihuahua who looks exceptionally similar to Daisy, and I just had to have her. I already had three dogs and people would wonder why in the world I'm getting another, but I just felt like she belonged to me. I named her Bella...

People often ask me if I believe that dogs go to heaven - I totally believe that! In fact, if dogs can be reincarnated, I would have to say there is a possibility that Daisy came back to me!
